Reflexology
Reflexology is often mistaken for a simple foot massage, but it is, in fact, a comprehensive therapeutic treatment. Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary therapy that involves applying precise pressure to specific reflex points on the feet, hands, face, or ears. These points correspond to different areas of the body and, when stimulated, can help promote relaxation, improve circulation, and support the body's natural processes to enhance overall wellbeing.
During your treatment, I will gently work on any imbalances detected in the reflex points to help rebalance the corresponding areas of the body. Most clients find reflexology brings a wonderful sense of relaxation and calm.

Consultation
Your First Appointment
Your initial session includes a relaxed consultation, during which we’ll go through a simple lifestyle questionnaire together. This allows me to get to know you and understand your needs, so I can create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your individual wellbeing goals.
allow one hour twenty minutes for your first appointment

What to expect during your foot reflexology treatment
During your reflexology session, you’ll be made comfortable on a reclining treatment couch. There’s no need to undress, just remove your footwear. I’ll gently cleanse your feet before applying soothing calendula powder , then warm them up a little and encourage some gentle deep breathing before your treatment starts.

Aftercare following your treatment
Don't underestimate the power of reflexology. After your session, it’s important to allow your body time to adjust and respond to the treatment. You may feel relaxed, energised, or even a little tired; these are all normal responses as your body begins to rebalance. To support this process, drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol or heavy meals for the rest of the day, and take it easy where possible. Occasionally, you may notice mild reactions such as a headache, emotional release, or increased urination; these are usually short-lived and a sign your body is reacting to the treatment and eliminating toxins. If you have any questions or concerns after your treatment, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

When reflexology may not be suitable
Reflexology is a safe, non-invasive therapy, but certain conditions may require treatment to be adapted or postponed. These include infectious illnesses, recent surgery, blood clots, or early pregnancy. Any conditions will be evaluated during your consultation.
